Saying Thank You

STEPS (9).png

It’s easy to lose track of the good stuff in our lives when we are overwhelmed by bad news, never-ending to-do lists, email responses, and just everyday life stuff. To make sure I’m paying attention to all the positives and not just the negatives—and also to show the universe my appreciation for the gifts it always sends me—I always say thank you at the end of the day. I like ending my day with gratitude. I find the end of the day is the perfect time to reflect and wipe the slate clean. Embrace the things that made you smile, the ‘feel good’ things that happened. It’s a perfect time to let go of those occurrences that evoke stress, irritation, or dissatisfaction.

A Little Meditation for You To Try:

Visualize each of the wonderful, positive things that the day offered. Smile as you are filled with appreciation and warmth. Focus on the comfort of your bed. Slow your breathing. Open your heart and mind to tomorrow and all of its beauty and promise. Close your eyes. Have sweet dreams.
